Things to think about when ordering a cake. Budget. Serving size. Flavor, Fillings, Toppers, custom fondant work. What I’ve listed below is my cost to create a delicious and beautiful 3-layer, 8″ cake. I’m paying myself $20.00 per hour. On average it takes approximately 4 hours to bake, make icing, and decorate your special creation.
My base price is $130.00 per cake with delivery in a 30 mile radius. Extra costs will be associated with customization, serving size, additional packaging, ect.
Wedding cake base price for a cake that feeds 100, with delivery in a 30 mile radius will be $500. Additional servings will be charged at $3.50. Again, this is subject to change based on filling, customization, flowers – fresh vs. silk, or hand crafted sugar flowers.
